What you earn
Three phases per operator, tied to that operator’s tenure on the platform. The same partner earns across all three.
| Operator tier | Subscription (months 1–12) | You earn / month |
|---|---|---|
| Founding | $1,000/mo | $200/mo |
| Growth | $500/mo | $100/mo |
| Starter | $250/mo | $50/mo |
After month 12 the operator transitions to commission-based pricing. You earn 20% of LetzCharter’s commission on every booking the operator processes — for the rest of their tenure on the platform.
What an attributed operator is worth over 5 years
One Founding-tier operator processing $50,000/mo in bookings, staying on the platform for 5 years.
| Phase | Months | You earn / month | Sub-total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 (subscription) | 1–12 (12 mo) | $200/mo | $2,400 |
| Phase 2 (3% locked, year-one rate) | 13–18 (6 mo) | $300/mo (20% × $1,500 LC commission) | $1,800 |
| Phase 3 (5% locked, year-two+ rate) | 19–60 (42 mo) | $500/mo (20% × $2,500 LC commission) | $21,000 |
| Total over 5 years | $25,200 | ||
Per attributed operator. Assumes a Founding-tier operator processing $50,000/mo in bookings and remaining on the platform for 5 years. Higher-volume operators yield more; the partner’s share is always 20% of LetzCharter’s commission. There is no cap on how many operators you can attribute or how long you continue earning from each one.

FAQ
The fine print
How much do I earn per operator?
Three phases, all tied to the operator’s tenure on the platform. Attribution is permanent — the same partner earns through all three.
- Phase 1 (months 1–12) — 20% of the operator’s monthly subscription fee: $200/mo for Founding tier, $100/mo for Growth, $50/mo for Starter.
- Phase 2 (months 13–18) — 20% of LetzCharter’s commission on each booking, at the operator’s locked year-one rate.
- Phase 3 (months 19+) — 20% of LetzCharter’s commission on each booking at the operator’s locked year-two rate.
Worked example: a $10,000 booking from a referred Starter operator at a 7% locked rate yields LetzCharter $700 in commission. You earn $140 (20% of $700) on that booking.
When do I get paid?
Monthly. Earnings from any given month are paid by the 5th of the following month. US partners are paid via ACH; non-US partners via international wire. What if multiple partners pitch the same operator?
First-touch wins. The operator's signup timestamp determines attribution, locked at signup. Co-referrals (two partners pitching together) aren't supported in v1.What happens to my commission if a booking is refunded?
Partner payouts are 20% of LetzCharter's commission, gross of Stripe processing fees (which operators absorb directly), and net of refunds and chargebacks. If a booking is refunded after you've been paid, the next month's payout is reduced accordingly. If the clawback exceeds that month's earnings, the balance carries forward — but a negative balance with no offsetting earnings for 90 days is written off, and LetzCharter never bills you for repayment. What tax forms do you need?
US partners: a W-9 before the first payout. We issue 1099-NEC annually for partners earning more than $600 in a calendar year. Non-US partners: a W-8BEN; no US tax form is issued. Can I refer customers too?
A customer-side referral program is on the post-pilot roadmap. Once it ships, customers arriving via your link earn you a separate share, computed sequentially after any operator-side commission.
How program changes work
The deal you sign under is the deal we honor.
The Sales Partner Program is versioned, reviewed annually, and grandfathered at the (partner, operator) level. Existing terms are never reduced retroactively. Here’s what that means for you.
- Current version
- The Sales Partner Program is at v1.0, effective May 7, 2026. v1.0 includes the 20% partner share and the permanent-attribution commitment (no tenure cap on referred operators).
- Annual review
- The program is reviewed every May. The first annual review is May 2027. Either the current version stands, or a new version is published — no surprise mid-year changes.
- 90-day notice on any new version
- Before a new version takes effect, all enrolled partners receive at least 90 days notice by email and dashboard banner. The notice spells out what’s different, what stays the same for existing attributions, and when the new version applies to new referrals.
- Unit-locked grandfathering
- Every (partner, operator) pair is stamped with the program version current at that operator’s signup. Each pair stays on its stamped version for the full tenure of that operator on the platform — even if a newer version ships later. A partner enrolled under v1.0 who refers Operator A under v1.0 continues earning under v1.0 terms on Operator A, including the no-tenure-cap provision, regardless of what v2.0 brings. New referrals from that partner after a version change fall under the version current at the new operator’s signup.
- Forward-only changes
- LetzCharter never reaches back into a (partner, operator) pair already attributed and reduces it. Changes apply to new units; existing units keep the terms they signed under.
This four-part pattern — annual review, 90-day notice, unit-locked grandfathering, forward-only changes — is the canonical incentive-program governance pattern at LetzCharter. It applies to every incentive program we’ve shipped and every one we will ship.
