1. Who can enroll
Open to anyone who can recruit charter operators to LetzCharter. No prior relationship with LetzCharter required. Partners must accept this terms document at enrollment.
2. What you earn
A Sales Partner earns 20% of LetzCharter’s revenue from any operator they referred, for the operator’s full tenure on the platform.
There is no tenure cap. As long as the operator processes bookings on LetzCharter, the attributed partner earns their share. If the operator leaves the platform, earnings on that operator stop; if they return under the same operator account, earnings resume on the same partner-operator link.
The 20% commission is paid out in three phases tied to the operator’s tenure:
| Phase | Operator tenure | What you earn |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 — Pilot subscription | Months 1–12 | 20% of operator’s monthly subscription fee ($200 / $100 / $50 for Founding / Growth / Starter tiers) |
| Phase 2 — Locked-rate first year | Months 13–18 | 20% of LetzCharter’s commission per booking |
| Phase 3 — Locked-rate ongoing | Month 19 onward, for the operator’s tenure | 20% of LetzCharter’s commission per booking |
Worked example. A $10,000 booking from a referred Starter-tier operator on a 7% locked rate yields LetzCharter a $700 commission. The sales partner earns $140 (20% of $700) on that booking. Earnings continue at this rate for as long as the operator remains on the platform.
3. How attribution works
LetzCharter uses first-touch attribution with a 90-day cookie window. Three signal types are honored, in priority order:
- URL parameter —
?ref=LC-XXXXXXXXon the/applysubmission. Highest-fidelity signal. - Cookie —
lc-refset on a prior link click, with a 90-day TTL from first click. - Manual claim — a “Were you referred? Enter code” optional field on
/apply. No expiration; an operator who remembers a partner’s code can claim attribution to that partner at signup.
If multiple signals are present, the highest-priority signal wins. If lc-ref is already set with a different partner’s code, the earlier code keeps credit — re-clicks of the same partner’s link refresh the 90-day window but do not displace an earlier partner.
Each operator has at most one attributed sales partner, locked at the operator’s signup. The partner-operator link is permanent. Re-attribution is not supported.
Anti-fraud: self-referral is blocked. Cross-partner referrals (one partner attempting to displace another) are blocked silently. High-value claims (>$500/mo accrued) require admin approval. Code stuffing is flagged for admin review. Admin override is always available and audit-logged.
4. Program versioning and grandfathering
The Sales Partner Program is reviewed annually. New program versions may be published with at least 90 days notice to enrolled partners (via email and dashboard banner).
Unit-locked grandfathering applies. Each (partner, operator) pair is stamped with the program version current at that operator’s signup, and that version’s terms are honored for the operator’s full tenure on the platform — even if a newer program version ships later. New referrals from a partner after a version change fall under the version current at that new operator’s signup.
LetzCharter commits in writing: changes are always forward-only and never retroactively reduce existing partner terms. A partner enrolled under v1.0 who refers Operator A under v1.0 continues earning under v1.0 terms on Operator A — including the “no tenure cap” provision — regardless of subsequent version changes.
5. Refunds, clawbacks, and processing fees
Partner payouts are calculated as 20% of LetzCharter’s commission gross of Stripe processing fees and net of refunds and chargebacks. If a booking is refunded after the partner has been paid, the refunded portion is clawed back from the partner’s next payout. A negative balance with no offsetting earnings for 90 consecutive days is written off — LetzCharter does not pursue partners for cash repayment of clawed-back commissions.
6. Entity transfers
If a referred operator’s legal entity changes hands, sales-partner attribution does not transfer to the new owner. This mirrors the Entity Transfer Clause on the operator side.
7. Customer-side referrals (post-pilot)
When the customer-side referral program ships (post-pilot), customers who arrive via a partner’s referral link and book earn the customer-side partner a separate share. The math is sequential — the customer-side partner earns 20% of LetzCharter’s commission after any operator-side partner cut. If the same partner is referenced on both sides, they stack both layers.
8. Disputes and changes
All attribution decisions are audit-logged. Disputes are resolved by referring to the four-part rule in §3 above and the audit trail; admin override is available where the audit trail is ambiguous and is itself logged.
Changes to this terms document are governed by the program-versioning rules in §4. The version stamp at the top of this page is the authoritative version for any partner-operator pair attributed while that version was current.
