Transparent pricing for charter operators
No hidden fees. No SaaS subscription. No feature paywalls. LetzCharter is a marketplace — you pay commission only on the bookings it sends you, on a marginal scale that falls as you grow.
Standard commission
Marginal brackets, starting at 15%
You only pay each rate on the portion of monthly booking volume that falls inside that bracket. The more you book, the lower your effective rate.
| Monthly bookings | Rate on this slice |
|---|---|
| First $10,000 | 15% |
| $10,001 – $25,000 | 14% |
| $25,001 – $50,000 | 13% |
| $50,001 – $100,000 | 12% |
| Over $100,000 | 10% |
Effective rate at common volumes
| Monthly volume | Total commission | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $1,500 | 15.0% |
| $25,000 | $3,600 | 14.4% |
| $50,000 | $6,850 | 13.7% |
| $100,000 | $12,850 | 12.85% |
| $250,000 | $27,850 | 11.14% |
Operator-sourced bookings — those that come through your own referral links — are 10% flat regardless of volume. The marginal brackets above apply to marketplace-sourced bookings. Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) are passed through at cost, separately.
Payment & payouts
When you get paid, and what comes out
- Payouts run through Stripe Connect
- Customers pay LetzCharter at booking. Your share is routed to your connected Stripe account on Stripe’s standard payout schedule once a trip is confirmed and any hold period clears. You keep the fare you set, minus marketplace commission and the pass-through processing fee.
- Refunds and chargebacks
- When a booking is refunded under the cancellation terms, the associated commission is reversed — you’re not charged commission on money you return to a customer. Chargebacks are handled through Stripe’s dispute process.
- What you keep vs. what the marketplace takes
- On a marketplace-sourced booking, LetzCharter takes commission per the brackets above; everything else is yours. There are no listing fees, no monthly software charge, and no per-seat pricing — the commission is the model.

- Stripe's payment-processing fee, which is passed through at cost

What customers see
No hidden fees on either side of the booking
Customers see the quoted price for the trip up front. Commission is built into the rate you set — it is not a surprise line item added at checkout. The price a customer agrees to is the price they pay, and the fare you set is the basis for both your payout and the marketplace commission. Transparent pricing on the customer side is a permanent commitment, not a launch promotion.
Pricing questions
Straight answers on how pricing works
Why marginal brackets instead of one flat rate?
Marginal brackets mean you only pay each rate on the slice of monthly volume that falls inside that bracket — the same way income-tax brackets work. A flat rate would charge high-volume operators the same percentage on their first dollar as their millionth. Brackets let the effective rate fall as you grow, so scaling on LetzCharter gets cheaper per booking, not more expensive.
How does this compare to other marketplaces?
LetzCharter is a marketplace, not a SaaS product — there are no monthly software tiers, no per-seat fees, and no feature unlocks behind a paywall. Standard commission starts at 15% on the first bracket and falls from there. Every operator gets the same tools, the same marketplace surface, and the same support, regardless of size.
What about taxes?
Commission and Stripe processing fees are separate from any sales, use, or transportation taxes that apply to a trip. You remain responsible for collecting and remitting the taxes your jurisdiction requires. LetzCharter’s commission is calculated on the fare you set, before pass-through taxes.
Can my commission rate change?
Standard rates are the published marketplace rates and can be revised over time with notice. Operators who lock a rate during the Founding Partner window keep that rate permanently, even if standard rates change later — see Founding Partners.
Joining before public launch? Founding Partners enroll at reduced rates (3%–7% early) locked permanently — well below these standard rates. See Founding Partners for the offer and the savings math.
